The QKD sensor marks a milestone in secure communication technology. While conventional QKD receivers are often large, complicated and slow, our QKD receiver presents itself as the first off-the-shelf QKD receiver - as small as a cent coin and ready for direct integration into customer applications.

The product combines up to four SPADs, cooling, polarization filter and signal processing in a very compact design. Thanks to standardized output signals, the sensor can be easily integrated into your systems. With its innovative design, the sensor is the key element for the reception of individual light quanta and enables the reliable transmission of secure keys based on the physical laws of quantum mechanics.
